Inspired by the Canoe/Kayak Sprints of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games?

Did you watch Liam Heath of Team GB win Gold in the 200m K1 Sprints, or the GB crews in the K2 or K4 events?
If you were inspired by the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and particularly the Canoe / Kayak Sprints …. Well, that’s what we do at Longridge Canoe Club…… that, and much more!

If the explosive power of 200m, 500m, 1000m Sprints is not your thing, then how about 2 mile, 4 mile, 8 mile, 12 mile, 24 mile, 35 mile races? Even the ultimate endurance of 125 miles!  We’re entering them all.

Of course you don’t need to be Olympic standards to join in and have fun, we’ve got members ranging from complete beginners to those getting World Championship selections and everything in between; we’ve got the young, the teens, twenties, the older, the older still (no names).

With our ‘come-and-try’ opportunities, why not seize the moment and get in contact with us while the weather & water is still warm.
