Spooky Fun Night Paddle

We struck lucky with conditions for our Halloween Night paddle. We'd been monitoring river conditions all week as flow rates had crept up, and dropped again; river levels were creeping up slowly, but not too much; then on the morning of the paddle we'd had torrential rain and super high winds..... then with 4 hours to go, all fell in place opening up to a beautiful mild, clear and calm night.

Out we went for a 45 minute social paddle, with bright stars and buzzed by bats, it was a great session. The boat illuminations prettily glowing along the river. Returning to base, where the cauldron was all fired-up and ready to serve teas, coffees & hot chocolates along with theme-decorated cakes.
