Time trials

We hold a number of timetrials.  The 5k timetrial is on Tuesday nights.  The 4k timetrial is for beginners and juniors.  The 12k timetrial is on the first Thursday of every month.  Volunteer timers always welcome.

2k Course – start at the sailing jetty, downstream to Wooten’s Island, turn around the first boat above Wooten’s Island, and return to the sailing jetty.

4k Course – start at the sailing jetty, round the danger sign (anti-clockwise),  downstream to Wooten’s Island.  Go down the right-hand channel, round the bottom of the island, and back up the main channel.  Finish back at the sailing jetty.

5K Course – start at the flag pole near the sailing jetty, upstream round the danger sign (anti-clockwise), downstream to Wooten’s Island.  Go down the right-hand channel, round the bottom of the island, and back up the main channel.  Up round the danger sign (anti-clockwise) and finish back at the flag pole.

8k Course – start at the sailing jetty, downstream round Wooten’s Island.  Go down the right-hand channel, round the bottom of the island, and back up the main channel.  Up round the danger sign (anti-clockwise), back round Wooten’s, up round the danger sign and back to the sailing jetty.

10.5k Course – start at the sailing jetty, downstream round Wooten’s island.  Beach portage on the right-hand side.  Continue upstream, round the danger sign (anti-clockwise) and back to the sailing jetty.  Repeat.  Then downstream round Wooten’s island (no portage) and return to the landing stage.

12k Course – start at the sailing jetty, downstream to Cookham Bridge.  Anti-clockwise around any bridge pier.  Return upstream, around the danger sign (anti-clockwise) and finish back at the sailing jetty.
